If you’d like to focus your tour on the monuments, we suggest meeting in front of the Opéra Garnier.
The Opéra Garnier is an absolutely extraordinary architectural gem, and from this starting point we’ll head straight for the Rue de la Paix, with its incredible luxury, to arrive at the Place Vendôme, where you’ll find the Hôtel Ritz, the Vendôme column in the centre with the whole story of the War of Austerlitz engraved on it and, above all, the absolutely perfect architecture of this immense square all around.
We then take the rue de Castiglione, still in one of the most luxurious areas of Paris, to enter the rue de Rivoli, which is the 3rd longest street in Paris. We arrive at the Place de la Concorde, with the oldest monument in Paris at its centre, the Egyptian obelisk from Luxor, 3000 years old.
Around it… the sumptuous Hôtel de la Marine, Hôtel de Crillon, the Orangerie, the entrance to the Tuileries Gardens, the Musée de la Marine and above all a splendid view of the National Assembly with the Invalides dome in the distance. We now head for the Champs Elysées…
On our left we will cross the Grand Palais, Petit Palais and Pont Alexandre III, jewels of 1900…
On to Les Invalides with its extraordinary Golden Dome. After passing in front of the main entrance to the Invalides, we head for the Ecole Militaire and the Eiffel Tower.
The little surprise is some very nice photos of you with the two horses at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. All your friends will soon discover on social networks that you’re in Paris. After these lovely photos, we’ll head back under the Eiffel Tower, along the Seine towards the Statue of Liberty, created by the brilliant sculptor Bartholdi. From here, you can continue to admire the Seine with its pretty boats and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.
After crossing the Ile aux Cygnes (Swan Island), we find ourselves in front of the Maison de la Radio (Radio House) and continue along the Seine, again enjoying one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower. We arrive at the bottom of the Trocadero, dominated by the magnificent art-deco Palais de Chaillot.
Slowly the little 2CV, with its magical sound, makes its way up the Avenue d’Iéna towards the Arc de Triomphe, which we approach, and then down the Champs Elysées to the Champs Elysées roundabout, towards the Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, one of the most luxurious streets in Paris.
